Jeffrey Schaffer

Jeffrey Schaffer received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984 where he was elected to the Student Government Board and held the position of President Pro Tempore. Jeffrey was also a White House Press escort and worked directly with the Secret Service during President Ronald Reagan’s visit to Pittsburgh. Jeffrey graduated from Seton Hall Law School in 1987, where he was a member of the Moot Court Team and a representative at the 1986 National Moot Court Competition.
Jeffrey concentrates his practice representing injured clients in the areas of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, premises liability, construction, product liability and medical malpractice claims. Jeffrey was appointed as solicitor to the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds in 2004 where he was responsible for reviewing contracts, requests for proposals and providing legal advice to the Office of the Recorder of Deeds. Jeffrey is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Jeffrey was the successful author of the brief in the case of Nikiper v Motor Club of America Cos., 232 N.J. 339, 557 A.2d 332 (App. Div. 1989), which dealt with the availability of underinsured motorist’s coverage.
